Patchwork Butterflies

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a good week, I can't believe that we are half way through already.

I wanted to share a little card that I made for  challenge # 25 on the The Butterfly Challenge blog H is for Hexagon.  I used so many snippets I would like to join with the Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 166. There is an Anything Goes Challenge on the Scribble and Scrap Blog that I would like to join in too. That's a lot of challenges for me.

I really enjoyed making this card. I used a Sizzix  hexagon die to cut the papers to make the background I could cut four sheets of paper at the same time. It was good to be able to use some of the snippets in my stash and you don't need much of each colour. I cut a piece of coconut white card and I stuck the hexagons to this I wanted some of the white to still show.

The main image is from a Kanban topper set the butterfly is beautiful it started life as a circle but that was easily changed. I matted it to make it show up and I stuck it to the card with mounting foam.

The sentiment and small butterflies are from a set of stamps by Phill Martin I think the set is called Butterfly Meadow. I do find the little butterflies very useful.

I am very pleased with how this card turned out. I do like creating backgrounds like this.

I hope the rest of the week is kind to you.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie
