Playing with Ladybirds

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends 

I hope you are having a good week so far. My husband has been home this week so we have got lots of things sorted out in the house and garden. We have also managed to visit some people we haven't seen for a long time. 

Last week I was in the supermarket looking at the craft magazines and I spotted Papercraft Essentials magazine and the free die that came with it. When I saw how versatile it was I couldn't resit. I didn't get to play with the die until Sunday morning. 


I decided to use the die to create ladybirds. I also made this fun 6" x 6" card completely from snippets.  


The die from the magazine cut the body, spots and eyes of the ladybird. I used the center of another die to make the wings and added goggly eyes. I made the antennae from the center of a flower die. 


This is a closer view of the center of the card. A Spellbinder die cut the heart circle I used the cut out hearts for the corner of the card. The flowers behind the ladybirds were left over from other projects.

    Sorry I dont pop by as often as I should. I always love seeing your work. I love these ladybirds. My hubby fetched me that magazine with the dies as he knows I love owls and ladybirds. Love what you have created. Hugs Lori xxx
