I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday we went up to London to the Ideal Home Exhibition we had a lovely time. Today we are taking friends to Hastings to enjoy Beatles Day at the White Rock Theatre it is a fund raising event for MacMillan Cancer Research.
This is the only card I have had time to make this holiday. When we were at the wedding recently we discovered that my husband's eldest brother and his wife will have been married for 40 years at the end of this month. So I decided to make them a card.
It was nice to get back to a bit of crafting.
I used the Heart of Hearts die set to make the hearts. I also used the waste hearts to create some interest on the background.
The 40th was cut with some X-Cut dies.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Ideal Home show it was made even better by being lucky and getting free tickets.
There were some amazing sheds and structures for the garden.
There were artificial Hydrangeas everywhere they were very pretty.
I am not sure if my husband's brother and his wife will like this card I did enjoy making it.
I would like to enter Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 223.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Take care.
Hugs Jackie
They should love it as it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, do like the heart cutting die
ReplyDeleteLove this card Jackie - it's just perfect for a Ruby Anniversary and am sure the recipients will be delighted with it. Love how you also used the leftover little hearts to finish it off :)
ReplyDeleteIt's years since I was last at the Ideal Homes Exhibition - still have a cupboard full of little used gadgets that seemed essential at the time. Anyone into carving a lemon into a swan?
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground!
