Christmas Card Number 18

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How is your week going? I had a lovely visit with my good friend yesterday she even had cake and we made icing butterflies. I am still trying to collect those wedding ideas. If you go to my page about our daughter's wedding you can see where we have got to with the design for the table centres.

Well I have been busy today. First I finished the trial table decoration, then I made something for one of the Design Teams I am on. Lastly I started working on a batch of 15 Christmas cards. At the moment only one is finished. But all the bits are cut to make the others and they will be finished tomorrow the I will be up to Christmas card number 32. Maybe I shouldn't count my Christmas cards before they are finished.

If it works out I will have 15 cards like this. I had a little pack of  LOTV toppers with three different designs but all blue and with children acting out the Nativity. All the mats and layers were cut with my Sue Wilson Double Pierced Squares sets A and B. The white layer was embossed with the Snowflake Lattice A4 embossing folder by Creative Expressions I also used a little Distress ink to bring out the detail of the embossing.

These images are cute and they help to make very quick cards.

Where would I  be without my Sue Wilson Happy Christmas die. It fits into spaces that other dies don't.

So by this time tomorrow there should be 15 of these cards. Then I will start to feel a bit better about my Christmas cards. These cards are also nice and flat for posting.

Enjoy the rest of the evening.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

  9. Another gorgeous Christmas card Jackie. I tend to count my chickens and all that but I don't think there is anything wrong with that. It is a positive take on life I think.
Good luck on the cake research.
