Unicorn Challenge Blog - Petal Power

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope the week has started well for you. Yesterday was actually our 35th Wedding Anniversary. We have certainly come a long way together. My husband took the afternoon off and we had a lovely meal and we did a lot of shopping. It was all a bit low key but with a wedding to pay for it couldn't be any other way.

Being the first Tuesday of the month the new challenge starts today on the Unicorn Challenge blog the theme is Petal Power.

I treated myself to some new dies but I do like to keep using my older dies.  I used the border die from the French Collection designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions.

The Easter basket die cuts out nicely and it is easy to make a mat to go behind it with the dies provided. I have not used the set to make the 3D basket yet. The flowers were made with a Martha Stewart punch. I used the Olive branch dies to create the foliage.

The Happy Easter die comes with the Basket set.

This is my last Easter card. I have enough now.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

  10. Hi Jackie,
Hello from a very dusty bungalow.
Can't wait till it's all done and dusted again.
I hate all the white dust everywhere.
    Congrats on you wedding anniversary.
We celebrate 34 years at the end of the year, and it would have been my 50th this year if my first husband hadn't passed away.
Your Easter card is very pretty and such a wonderful design.
Beautiful flowers in that super basket, and of course wonderful spring colours too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
