How has your week been? I can't believe how quickly the time goes by there is always so much to do. Lots of people have warned me it would be like this.
I ordered the Snow & Ice Volume II bundle of papers and toppers from the Creative World of Crafts. I just couldn't resist the gorgeous images by Pollyanna Pickering and the price was good too. Everything arrived yesterday. I just had to have a play.
The backing paper came from the Snow & Ice - Volume II Paper Popper Pad. I used the Sue Wilson Snowflake border die to cut the two borders.
This gorgeous image came from the Snow & Ice - Volume II Decoupage Popper Pad.
The sentiment was cut with another Sue Wilson die. It was cut twice once in red and once in black. I do find having a shadow helps the sentiment to show up against the background.
This is another Christmas card for my stash. I had a count yesterday I have made 40 so far this year. Having left work I don't think I will need as many as last year. Every little helps.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Jackie

Hi Jackie,
ReplyDeleteyes time seems to fly faster when your not working.
Or is it that we slow down as we haven't got to rush anymore.
Never could figure that one out, I suspect it's the latter.
Love this wonderful card and that image is such a super cute one.
you have done the artist wonderful justice with your design.
I still get amazed by her work as it always looks so like photos.
Oh to be able to draw and paint like that it must be so satisfying to create such masterpieces of work.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
