How is your week going? It is a bit windy here today. I am popping into Southampton later to meet my husband for lunch. He has taken a half day leave so we can do a bit of Christmas shopping. The Christmas market is in full swing and Santa flies twice a day.
I wasn't going to blog today but I was so pleased with how this card turned out I wanted to share it. I used the Polkadoodles image that was free for Making Cards Magazine readers called Hollybobs Choir.
I made a frame for the image with the Double Pierced Square dies from Creative Expressions. Those dies are so useful.
The image I received was a PNG with meant that I could put it onto my own background. I just used Publisher to put it all together. Them I coloured the couple with Promarkers.
The sentiment was found in my stash. I cut the mat with the Double Pierced Circle dies from Creative Expressions. Yes I have those to and one day I would love to have the Double Pierced Ovals.
I did like using this image. Being a PNG made it so much easier to use.
Enjoy your day.

Your card is fabulous Jackie, love the design! You did a great job combining the image with the background, and your colouring is awesome. The patterned papers work beautifully with the other elements, the colours are so soft and pretty. I like how you created the double frame around the image too. Lovely!
