First try using the Oakham Lattice die set from the John Next Door Range

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you had a great weekend. On Saturday we visited our parents. We saw both sets. Then on Sunday we had a free day and the weather wasn't too bad so we went to the Royal Victoria Country Park which is in Netley near where we live. We hadn't been there for years and they have done a lot of work to improve the Country Park. All that remains of a large of a large Military hospital, with its own railway station and landing jetty, is the chapel. They now have exhibits to show you the extent of the hospital and the chapel has been completely refurbished including a coffee shop. Of course we had a cup of coffee while we were there.

When we were at the Farnborough Craft show back in February I treated myself to the Oakham  Lattice die set from the John Next Door Range from Crafts-Too. On Friday I used the die set for the first time.

There is just so much detail in this die set it is beautiful and it cuts well. I think it makes fantastic masculine birthday cards. This is a very simple card using this die I can really see the potential. In fact because I cut it twice I have background that I can use for another card.

All I had to do was add a sentiment.

I am building up a nice stash of birthday cards that are ready to use when I need them.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Have a great week.

Happy crafting

Hugs Jackie
