How is your week going? Here is a little card to cheer you up. We are all booked for our Covid vaccine. We got the letter on yesterday and we booked later in the day when some more appointments had become available. The next one is booked as well. I do hope all this helps.
I have been enjoying colouring. It does seem to help with my stress levels. When I have to deal with things to do with my parent's care a session of colouring really helps calm me down. I had my snippets out for another project. I hunted through to find papers that would go with this cute owl.
This cute little owl is from the You're A Hoot digital stamp set from Beccy's Place it is available HERE This image set is on sale, it is a good price and it won't be around for long. The branch and the butterfly were drawn by me. I wanted him to have something to look at and to sit on. The whole thing was coloured with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils. The frame was made with a Spellbinders die. I cut it twice once in black and once in gold. This helped the frame to stand out from the background.
I will pop a sentiment onto this card when I know who it will be sent to. I have been asked to have a stall at a Hampshire Open Studios event in the summer. I had better get making somethings to put on the stall.

ReplyDeleteThat's good news that you've got your vaccines booked, I'm sure it all helps, however, it does need the whole world to be vaccinated, as once we open up to foreign travel, we'll be going backwards, I find it's still worrying, take care, Kate x

ReplyDeleteHubby and I have signed up...but in our area it's slow getting an appointment. we got an email back telling us it could still be 6 to 12 weeks till we can get an appointment.
Beautiful card and love your owl also what a fabulous background that you have created too, it really stands out and it's amazing how effective snippets can be. Great news about the vaccine too! Take care Michelle x
