Happy 70th Birthday card and cake topper

 Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? We seem to be getting busier. Yesterday we went to the theatre to see Educating Rita. It was so nice to go to the theatre again. We are going out for the day today too.  I do hope we haven't come out of lockdown too soon. 

Our good friend was 70 yesterday. Here is the card and cake topper I made for him. 


I used Claritystamp designer paper in the background. The number , letter and word dies are all from the John Next Door range. 


I kept this card for so long. I just love the image and it works well with the jigsaw die. The die came free with a magazine some time ago. 

I made one of these before. It is double sided. 


Here is the topper on the fabulous cake my friend made. 


I think it is rather obvious what our friend's hobby is.

    Brilliant card and cake topper Jackie. Haven’t been out this hot weather. Have a tendency to faint if I get too hot so it’s best to stay inside. Walking outside still isn’t good anyway.I will get there in the end. Enjoy the rest of your week and the weekend.🤗

    Its a wonderful card Jackie, I love the image, and I had almost forgotten the jig saw die, I got mine thanks to you that week. Looks like your friend had a good birthday.
    Glad your getting out and about Jackie but please be careful, after what I have just gone through it really makes me wonder how on earth it happened.xx

    Lovely cards this week
    I would never have guessed what your friend’s hobby is Is it golf?
    Had a very busy week at work and now I’m on annual leave for a week Typically the weather has changed! Ho hum!
