First Christmas Card of 2022

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

Happy New Year to everyone. We have had a quiet few days. My back is finally starting to feel much better. So I can now do some gentle crafting, Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last post of 2021 my favourite makes.

I was putting away the Christmas cards I was actually inspired to make one of them into a new card. I am trying not to do so much lifting and bending when I craft, that is limiting what I can make to some extent.

Here is the first Christmas card I have made this year. In fact it is first thing I have crafted at all.

I used one of my kraft card blanks. The lace was from my stash as was the pattered craft card and the gold mirror card.

This is the image from the card. I trimmed it down and added a mirror card mat.

When I need to get going again with my crafting I usually start with Christmas cards as simple ones are still effective.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting

Unicorn Challenge - Spotty Dotty! Polka Dots

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you had a good weekend and that those of you that got one had a wonderful Bank Holiday. We spent our extra day taking afternoon tea to my parents to celebrate our birthdays. We even took my husband's parents with us. It was a lovely time and no one had to stress about organising the food because it all came from Marks and Spencer.

The first Tuesday of the month sees the start of a new challenge on the Unicorn Challenge blog and this time the theme is Spotty Dotty! Polka Dots.

As you can see I tried to get as may dots into the design as I could.  Everything I used came from my stash.

The girls are wearing dots, the ribbon has dots and the papers have dots. This was such a fun card to make. Even the sentiment, which was a sticker, has dots on it.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting
