I hope you are having a fantastic weekend. We have been very busy, today finds us at the 16th annual Beatles Day at the White Rock theatre in Hastings. It is an event that raises money for the Macmillan Charity. There are lots of different acts performing Beatles songs all day long and ending, of course, with Hey Jude. It is a good day especially if you are a Beatles fan.
Today also sees the start of Scribble and Scrap Challenge 42 the challenges are always anything goes and there is a prize. This is my Design Team piece for inspiration.
One of my work colleagues asked me if I would make some tags to attach to table decorations for her son's wedding at the end of the Easter holidays. I agreed and she collected them earlier this week. I decided to make a card for the happy couple using the colours from the tags I had been asked to make.
I have made a few cards with a similar design I like the combination of hearts and initials. They always turn our slightly differently.
I kept checking the details I had been give I was so worried about putting the wrong initials on the card.
If I get any good photos of Beatles Day I will post a few.
Don't forget to join in with the Scribble and Scrap Challenge you might win a prize.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Jackie

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely card Your trip to the Beatles Day reminded me of a park we visited in Havanna last year I think it goes that after the music ban set by Fidel was lifted or did he lift the ban I can't remember Beatles music was played in this park where the local kids joined in playing/singing There is a bronze statue of John Lennon sitting on a bench (like the one in Liverpool) and there is a little old man that looks after it and if you want to take photos he places a pair of glasses on him for you They used to get stolen or broken and so he takes care of them now
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Jackie, love those hearts and embossing..
ReplyDeleteThose initials are the same as my husband (Ken) and myself (Pam)...
Hugs Pam x
