Firstly thank you for all the comments on my last post. I think my father-in-law will love his card. Plans are a foot for his party and my niece is making him a special cake. I will post some pictures here after the event. You might be a bit surprised by our choice of present.
I was asked to make this card by the leader of our church music group, as one of the members is moving on, she is going to Oxford to study for a PhD.
This card mostly uses sue Wilson dies. I have had these in my stash for a while and I have just got round to using them I must say I am very pleased with the results. The music paper was an old music sheet that my husband threw out the title of the song seemed appropriate I inked it with Fired Brick Distress ink I used that on the flowers as well.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving any comments I do appreciate them all.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Jackie

Hi, I'm a new follower of your blog and this is the 1st card i've seen, And I love it! I like the title of the song and would love to get my hands on a sheet like that for some of the members of my church. Any ideas where I could find it? I like the whole look and feel of the card. Love Sarah
Hi Sarah
I am sorry to say that the music sheet came from my husband who no longer needed it all I did was trim it to size and ink it. So I have no idea where the original came from. Thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my blog. Hugs Jackie

Hi Jackie
Love the card and the dies you have used- really pretty. I like the idea of using old sheets of music as a background and as you say appropriate title. Have a great weekend .

Hi Sarah
Try looking in charity shops you may be lucky and find someone who has had a clear out! I know when we were in Sidmouth last year at folk festival time lots of the charity shops had their sheet music outside. Otherwise search the internet and print it off? Hope that helps Diane xx
