Thinking of you - Fushia Spray

Hi Me Crafty Blog Friends

Well another week has started. I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Unfortunately I have a cold which has dampened the weekend a bit. The bunnies have returned home to be with our daughter she has a new bunny room for them. They should be very comfortable and it is good to know that they weren't out in the storm on Saturday night.

Last week at work we had some very sad news. One of our colleagues has been diagonised  with Ovarian Cancer. I offered to make a card for everyone in our team to sign. I wanted to make something pretty.

I started by colouring the image. Then I made the mats and layers to match the colours I had used to colour the image. The lace and backing paper were in my stash. I used a Memory Box die to make the flourishes at the side of the image.

The stamp I used is called Fushia Spray by Woodware it was stamped onto watercolour card with Watering Can Archival ink and then coloures with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens. I used the Double Pireced Rectangle dies designed by Sue Wilson to make the mats and layers for the image.

This stamp was also stamped with Waterring Can Archival and cut out with the Double Pireced Rectangle dies.

I do hope the lady likes this card. I will be taking it with me when I return to work so that it can be signed by the team.

Happy Crafting

Fantasy Stampers - Flower Power

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

The weekend is here. I wonder what you have planned? We are seeing our daughter and her fiancé to celebrate my birthday which is on Monday. We will be hat shopping, for the wedding in July, seeing a film and having a meal. The weather should be nice which is a plus.

Today a new challenge starts on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge blog and the  theme is Flower Power

I used the Fushia Spray stamp by Woodware. I must admit that I bought this stamp with the idea of using my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and that is what I did.

I stamped the image with Black Archival ink onto water colour  before colouring it with the pens.

The sentiment is a Lily of the Valley stamp that came free with a magazine sometime ago.

If you check back on the Fantasy Stamper Challenge Blog tomorrow the winners of the last challenge will be announced.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Crafting
