How was your weekend? We have made good progress with the wedding makes. There isn't too much more to do just that table plan.
Being Monday that is the time for the new challenge at Always Fun Challenges this time the theme is Patriotic. So what better to do than make a birthday card for my father-in-law. He just loves shaped cards. These colours are just what he likes.
I decide to make one of those impossible cards. I found a tutorial and apart from changing the measurements a bit I followed the instructions. It really wasn't too hard to make. I have a pack of nautical papers in my stash. That ribbon my mother-in-law gave me a little while ago.
Come and join in the fun at our latest challenge.
The fun bit was the decorating. This is a Tattered Lace die it was just the right size for this project. All my nautical dies come out when I am making a card for my father-in-law.
I cut the anchor and ship's wheel in blue and red to give a shadow.
This is Creative Expression die it fitted nicely in the corner.
I know my father-in-law will love this card. He is always so pleased with them and he lets me know. Which is sweet.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
