Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? Well it is the first of the month so it is busy in Blogland. Today the new challenge starts on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog our theme is always Anything Goes. Our sponsor is Limited Runs.

I do like to be making Christmas cards at this time of year. So my choice of images was this cute little snowman. The patterned paper was in my stash. The snowflake die came from The Works.

There are many wonderful images in the store. If you click on the logo you will be taken there.

This image is called Mini Snowman and he is available HERE.  I printed onto Neenah cardstock and coloured him with my Promarkers.

This is another one for my stash. I really ought to check how many cards I have made so far for Christmas.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog - March Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

Here I am back again with my second post of the day.

The March Challenge starts at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Bugaboo Stamps. There is a prize $12 gift code for the randomly chosen winner of the challenge.

Now I must admit to being a bit obsessed with using my Snippets to make backgrounds and here is another one made in Easter colours.

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Theodore - Easter and he is available HERE.  I made a background for the image with Publisher this is where I added the sentiment too. I do find it easier making backgrounds on the computer.  Pre-coloured images or PNGs are easier for this to work.  The image being a PNG  was coloured with Promakers.

I am keen to make a few Easter cards this year. I think this image will be very useful.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

I hope you have a great weekend. We are hoping to see the Thelwell exhibition at Mottisfont.

Crafts Galore Encore - July Challenge - sponsor Oddball Art

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

Happy Saturday. I hope you have something nice planned. We will be doing the last few bits of wedding prep as well as looking for a fridge.

The first of the month sees the start of a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is always Anything Goes and the sponsor this time  is Oddball Art by Lizzy Love  they are offering 3 digi stamps to the winner. What a fab prize.

The backing paper was in my stash. I used the Decorative Frames dies set from the Italian Collection designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expression to make the frame and the Stitched flag dies to make the flags.

If you click on the image you will be taken to the Etsy store. There are some gorgeous images there.

This is Mr Sweets the Fox he is so cute. There is a Christmas version of him too. I printed him onto water colour paper and used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to colour him.

He is a cutie. I have not put a sentiment on, that can be added when I decide who to send this card to.

Have a great weekend.

Crafts Galore Encore - Make a card

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I am back, for the second time today,   this time with my card for the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme of the new challenge is simple "Make a Card". Kenny K is our sponsor and the team have been given some wonderful images to work with. The challenge lasts for a month.

Click on the logo and you will be taken to the store where you can buy the images.

This is Jasmine a pretty young woman she is coloured with Promarkers. I wanted her to look like she is wearing blue denim.

I made the flowers with my Sizzix Bigz Tattered Florals die. I did actually go to a charity shop to buy some jeans to cut up. I cut some in felt as well to give a contrast in the layers.

The sentiment was stamped with a Clarity stamp.

There she is ready for a day out to celebrate a birthday.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

Happy New Year! What could be better to start the new year than a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog. The theme of this month's challenge is Anything Goes. There is a sponsor and there is a prize.

The sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy. The image I have used is called Little Travellers. It comes in a zip file there is line art to colour,  a coloured image and coloured image with a background. I used the coloured image with the background.

I liked this image and I thought it would be good for an engagement card. I am hoping I will need an engagement card some time soon. Fingers crossed.

I added a branch and some leaves and flowers.

I hope you have a wonderful New Year.

Crafts Galore Encore - Theme use a Digi or a stamped image somewhere on your project.

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope that you have had a good weekend. As you read this I will be on my way back from Lincolnshire so this post will be scheduled. In my next post I will tell you what we did this weekend I might even add some photos. If you know me on Facebook you probably already know.

Today sees the start of a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog and the theme is use a Digi image or a Stamp. This time we had a wonderful sponsor Art by Miran  who provided the team with images to use and will be supplying the prize for the winner.

The image I used is called Suzie Snowflake.

I do like my mauves and purples so that is how I coloured the image. The white mat was embossed with a snowflake embossing folder and inked faintly with Dusty Concorde Distress ink.

The sentiment came from a set by Indigoblu. This sentiment fits really well on this snowflake tag.

She is very pretty and I coloured her with Promakers. There were snowflakes in the image so I added the snowflake die cuts around about. All the dies are by Sue Wilson.

One last look at the card. If you click on the logo below you will be taken to the Art by Miran website.

Have a great week. It is back to school for me but I am part time so am lucky that  I get lots of time to craft.

It has just been announced that the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog is having a design team call. All the details are on the blog. It is a very friendly place to be.

I would like to enter Challenge 7 at A Bit More Time to Craft Challenge Blog.

Crafts Galore Encore - Gift Bag

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

Yes I am back again today! It is the first of the month and there is a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore challenge blog. This time we have a wonderful sponsor Bugaboo Digi stamps and there are prizes. The design team were all able to choose an image each to work with so if you go to the blog you can see their wonderful inspiration pieces.

I chose the Halloween Silhouette Scene. I am really enjoying using silhouettes in my card making at the moment. I decided to make a gift bag as this is the time of year for collecting sweets.  I made the bag first from black card using my Hougie board to do all the measuring and scoring.

For the image I printed it onto  white  160 gsm card stock and I cut it out. Then I used two shades of Distress Ink to ink over the image. I used my Versa Mark pen to draw round the edge of the image and to highlight the eyes and windows then I heat embossed it with a glow in the dark embossing powder. If does work,  this really does glow in the dark. I added an extra little die cut cat in the corner. I used a spellbinder die to make a frame for the image I think it looks a little Gothic.

If you click on this logo you will be taken to the Bugaboo store there are lots of images to choose from.

Not long and it will be the weekend. I have been rather busy with Design Team bits and pieces and at the start of the month there will be quite a few posts from me.

Happy Crafting

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a good day. I have been back to work this morning it was a training day so no children not until tomorrow.

I don't usually post twice in one day. Two of the Design Teams I am on their challenges start today. This is my inspiration card for the Crafts Galore Encore challenge blog. The theme of the challenge is Anything Goes and it really can be anything, any craft you like. I make a lot of cards so that is what I stuck to.

I have had the Sizzix accordion die for a very long time and I decided this was finally time to use it.  The die cuts the card with flaps to attach one piece to another piece and the score lines for folding.

In my stash I had a very old Hunkydory kit with pre-made card blanks I decided to cut them up to make this card. That way everything toned together.

The kit came with vintage toppers that fitted the die cuts so well.

This is not a particularly easy card to photograph. I do like how it folds out. I thought the use of pearls and the corners were a nice finishing touch.

This is the front of the card and would be what someone would see when it is first opened.  Now I have used this die once I have lots of ideas for what to do next. I would like to make a mini album for the grandparents with photos of all the grandchildren and their partners.

We have a Sponsor this month Di's Digis and the prize it three images of the winners choice from the store. The Design Team didn't get any images to use but I have looked at the store and the images are very cute.

Don't forget the theme is Anything Goes so there is lots of scope and the entry doesn't have to be a card.

I would like to enter the challenge at Try it on a Tuesday - try something new.

I would also like to enter the challenge at Cuttlebug Mania - Anything Goes.

I hope that you have a good week.

Crafts Galore Encore - Sherri Baldi girl with a big hat.

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a great week. It is another scheduled post from me as we are still on the cruise I think this will be a sea day. Before I went on our first cruise I thought the sea days would be boring but there is so much to do this is not the case.

This is my Design Team inspiration card for the new challenge at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog. The theme is Anything Goes.

We have a wonderful sponsor this month none other than Sherri Baldi. You can visit her Etsy shop by clicking on the picture below and her shop by clicking on the link here

The prize is to choose three of these images that the Design Team have used to make their creations.

I choose this image,  I liked the big hat. I chose to use my favourite colours mauves and blues and I coloured her with my Promarkers.

I designed the rest of the card to match the way I had coloured the image. I cut the lattice for the background with my ScanNcut. The cutting file was downloaded free from the internet. The paper in the background was from my stash. I made the flowers with some dies.

I really enjoyed using this image and I like how this card came together, Don't forget to join in with the challenge at Crafts Galore Encore challenge blog. The theme is Anything Goes.

There is a Sherri Baldi Facegroup page where you can follow Sherri.

I hope that you have a good week. I will be back before you know it.

Happy Crafting.
