Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #84 - Anything Goes - Sponsor Star In My Pocket Digital Stamps

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend? Guess what,  we had a quiet one at home. We did manage to get out for some walks between the showers.

Well today is the first day of February. That means that the new challenge starts on the Crafts Galore Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor is StarStampz

The background paper came from a Nautical paper pad from The Works. The little circles are the waste from the John Next Door Mandala die set.

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called My Sweet Rose and it is available HERE. I coloured the image with my Faber Castell Polychromo pencils. I used some Tatterlace dies to cut our the image and the mats. The Hello is a Crafter's Companion die.

I do so enjoy colouring with my pencils. This is a very sweet image.

A Pretty Little Card to say Hello - Anything Goes at the A Bit More Time to Craft Extra Challenge Blog

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend? We were busy all weekend with the Open Studios sale. We spent most of our time making sure that people were socially distancing and making sure not too many people were in the garden at the same time. After we had tidied up on Monday we had a meal at one of our local restaurants. We had it all booked a while as it was the last chance to use the Government scheme Eat Out to Help Out.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at the A Bit More Time to Craft Extra Challenge. The theme is always Anything Goes and there are sets of Digi papers to be won.

This time I used the Gingham Digi papers. I have said before I do have a thing for gingham.

Our challenge are always fun why not join us? Click on the logo and you will be taken straight to the challenge.

From the John Next Door range I used the Cornflower die, the Small Butterfly die set and the Star Flower leaves.

This is a Crafter's Companion die.

This is another of the cards that was in the sale. I  displayed about 100 cards.

Have a great weekend.

Pretty Little Card to say Hello

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How was your weekend? We had quite a busy day on Saturday lots of things got done. Then on Sunday we had a very lazy day. It is big week for us this week. On Friday it is my husband's birthday. Before that he is going to apply for voluntary severance. The scheme has just been announced at his work. He is quite close to retirement age so it is worth trying for.

Last week I had a few scraps left over from making other cards so I decided to put them together.

Even the card blank was left over from cutting another card blank. The idea started with the small green and yellow rectangles that I found in my bits bag. The patterned paper was leftover from when I made some cards for Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.

I made the daisies with the Tatty Daisy die from the John Next Door range. These two were left over from another project. The centres were coloured with Distress Ink. The leaves were cut with the Star Flower Leaves dies from John Next Door.

The bee was also left over from another project. I do like bees.

There you have it a cute little card.

Have a good week

Isobel Craft Collection - Ladybirds

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

The weekend is here. I hope you have something nice planned the weather is looking good. We had an unexpected trip to see the in-laws yesterday. My Mother-in-law is 90 next week and there is a planned meal at weekend and another in September. But our daughter and her fiance wanted to  visit yesterday so we tagged along this meant we could all go out for a meal. I have just completed the trees for the wedding so I am feeling a bit more on top of things. Here is a link to the page.

A couple of days ago I shared a card I made with the new Gnomes stamps from the Isobel Craft Collection. Well I just had to share another card I made with the new Ladybird stamps.

I love using the resist technique to create a background. I stamped and heat embossed the ladybird stamp in two colours. Then I used Distress Ink to colour the rest of the page.

There is a link on the Facebook page to where you can buy the stamps.

I used the Heart of Hearts die set to cut our the stamped image.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Happy Crafting

Hello!

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How is your week going? My husband is not well but he insists on doing things and then gets very tired. I do hope he gets better soon.

I have recently found out about the location of a cousin who I had lost touch with. All I have is an address so I decided to make a card to break the ice so to speak.

I wanted to keep things quite simple. All the papers and card I used came from my stash.

I have had this stamp for such a long time, it was originally free with a Docrafts magazine,   it was good to get a chance to use it.  I stamped it with Perfect Medium and heat embossed it with a gold powder ( I know it doesn't look gold in the photos).

Now the card is made I just have to write the letter.

Happy Crafting
