Cute Cat in a Flower Pot

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? I had a busy day yesterday. I was out with a friend in the morning and in the evening we had a meal out with friends. I must admit to being rather nervous about the way things are going with the virus. Again it is a case of waiting and seeing.

I made this cute card for a friend who really, really likes cats. In fact she has three rescue cats.

I used some scraps of patterned paper to make the patchwork background with some hexagon dies from Crafter's Companion.

I found the image and the sentiment in my stash. As soon as I saw the cute cat I knew it would be ideal. I cut mats for the image and the sentiment with the Double Pierced Circle dies by Creative Expressions.

I enjoyed making this card. I know my friend liked it a lot and so did her cats.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Have a great day.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

Your relaxed kitty is beautiful, Jackie! Loving this sweet card. I hear you about that "underlying anxiety" when going out and about, and wondering if even our close friends might infect us (or vice versa). It's strange how many people of all ages are asymptomatic, and how others get so sick. And no one seems to know if once you have it, if you're immune for life, or just to this strain, or just for a little while. One researcher suggested that the "lighter" the symptoms, possibly, the fewer antigens were built by the immune system so that asymptomatic people could possibly constantly catch it and not know it. It's a strange virus for sure. But at least we are comfortable in our homes, and have hobbies and technology to keep in touch. I hope you stay well, my friend. hugs, de
