Fantasy Stampers - CAS Christmas

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends,

Whoop it is Saturday. I am hoping to get lots of Christmas prep done. Our plans are finally coming together. I hope yours are too. We have started playing our Christmas CDs and that always gets me more in the mood for Christmas. You never know the tree might go up this weekend.

The last Fantasy Stampers challenge,  before the Christmas break, starts today. The theme is CAS (Clean and Simple)  Christmas.

I do like the CAS style. I don't always feel that I really do it justice.

I used the same stamps as last month's card for Fantasy Stampers and that is the Christmas Rose Elements stamp set that was designed by John Lockwood for Creative Expressions. I stamped it with Perfect Medium and heat embossed it with a gold powder. The colour was added with Promarkers. The sentiment came from the same stamp set.

Enjoy your weekend.

Fantasy Stampers - Vintage Christmas

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How has your week been? I hope you have something nice planned for the weekend. We are taking the bunnies back to our daughter her rabbit room got sorted out last week. Before we get there our daughter and her fiance are off to see a baker about making the wedding cake. The baker does make really good cupcakes and our daughter has promised to buy some for us to share. That is definitley something to look forward to.

The new challenge starts today on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge blog and the theme is Vintage Christmas. I did struggle with this theme a bit. I don't really have any stamps that fit the vintage theme.

When I was at Ally Pally back in September I treated myself to the Christmas Rose Elements stamps designed by John lockwood for Creative Expressions.  I did buy the matching dies as well, I love things that match, but I haven't used the dies  yet. I decided that the flowers looked a bit vintage I was think of old Victorian cards.  I stamped the sentiment onto a flag cut with the Sue Wilson pierced flag dies.

I used the corner stamp from the set on opposite corners of the topper. The flowers and leaves were coloured with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Have a wonderful weekend.
