Sympathy card and Pictures from the Farnborough Craft show

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you had a great weekend and that the return to work hasn't been too bad. I had a fantastic time at the Farnborough Craft show. One bonus about taking my Father-in -law was that we were able to park inside the tent as he is registered disabled because of his visual impairment. We ordered the storage for my Really Useful boxes and got a show price with 20% off - result. I met a few people and of course I spent lots of money. I will post some pictures at the end of this post.

We heard some sad news on Saturday the husband of the lady, who was church warden at the same time as my husband, died suddenly. I wanted to make a card to pop in the post quickly.

The card blank I used was 7" x 7". The mats were cut with 1/4" difference between them. The patterned paper was in my stash and I inked the edge with Old Paper Distress ink.  The die I used was one of my Sue Wilson dies.

The image was from a Hunkydory set that was in my stash. The image was decoupaged to give it some depth.

At Farnborough I met crafty friend Diane. She helped me out of a fix,  when I was ill I ordered two lots of tickets for the show, Diane had two of the tickets and another friend had the other ones (she went on Friday).

On the Samuel Taylor's stand my friend Jenny Redfern (from Facebook) was demonstrating.

This is Fiona Clayton from Crafter's Companion she was demonstrating Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers also on the Samuel Taylor's stand.

Here is the stash  I  there is just some A3 colouring card that didn't make it in from the car in time for the photo. The arrow is pointing to the picture in the catalogue of storage that we ordered.

I will leave you with a picture of the card I made for our friend. I hope it brings her some comfort it must have been such a shock for her.

I hope you have a good week.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie
