Isobel Craft Collection - Garden Delights stamp set

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are enjoying this Bank Holiday Weekend. We are back from our Holibobs it was brilliant. I love cruising. Norway is beautiful and I want to go back some time. Yesterday we had a trip to Bristol to have a look at accommodation for the wedding but this didn't work out which is a shame.

Before we went away I had a play and I made some tags with the dragonfly stamp from the Garden Delights stamp set from The Isobel Craft Collection.

I made three tags I was itching to try out my Pixie Powders. I used my Tattered Lace dies to make the tags.

For this tag I used a sticky embossing powder and then gilding flakes to make the dragonflies shine. To create the background I used Pixie Powders and water.

For this tag I used a clear embossing powder for the dragonflies and more Pixie Powders for the background.

Finally blue embossing powder and another shade of Pixie Powder.

Here I am with a Norwegian Troll they love their Trolls. None of them came home with us they were rather expensive.

This is the Azura looking enormous in port. When we were in one of the Fjords the captain did an amazing thing he turned the ship round 360 degrees on the spot. I have never seen anything like that before.

We did see a lot of waterfalls.

I did enjoy making these tags. This is a good way to practice different techniques for your card making.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Isobel Craft Collection - Singing in the Rain

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a good weekend. We had a lovely time looking at wedding dresses with our daughter yesterday. She tried on 14 different dresses in two different shops. She now has a clear idea of which type of dress suits her best. There is now a plan to go back to one of the shops in November to make a final choice. It was a very good day.

I have made another card with the new release of stamps from the Isobel Craft Collection. I was sent the Garden Delights stamps set. I wanted to use the raindrops and the clouds this time.

I had fun with the raindrop stamp making the background using the resist technique with heat embossing and Distress Ink. I stamped the sentiment and clouds onto water colour card with Black Archival. Then I used some hexagon dies to cut them out. The spotty ribbon was in my stash.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Today is my husband's birthday so this should be another good day.

Happy Crafting.

Isobel Craft Collection - New Release of stamps - Garden Delights

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How is your week going. I have been rather busy making cards and looking after our daughter's rabbits who are staying with us for a few weeks this summer. This means that our daughter and her fiance can have a bit of time away together.

I was very lucky to be selected for the Design Team for the Isobel Craft Collection. A new collection of stamps has been released and there are five sets altogether. I was sent the gorgeous Garden Delights set to work with.

I love these cute bugs. I stamped them with black archival onto watercolour card and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens I do love those pens.

This is such cute border. Again it was stamped in black archival and coloured with my Sparkle pens.

The stamps are available from the Etsy shop Sophy8.

This is the stamp set there are some lovely elements. I do have lots of other ideas for cards I could make with this set.

Enjoy the rest of the week and I hope the weather is kind to us all.

Happy Crafting
