Hi how has your week been so far? I have been on two school trips one to a Science Centre and the other to Paultons Park with the Visually Impaired children. Today I had lunch out with a friend. It is a Day closure tomorrow so I will have to have my learning head on. Not long and it will be the weekend. I have actually finished one lot of wedding invitations. I still need to work on the others.
Today I am sharing a card I have made with an image from the new collection at Delightful Digi's. If you click on the image it will take you to the new collection.
I started with the image Angel 2 in sepia she is also available in black and white and there is a backing paper to match. I was going to make a cheerful Christmas card but somehow when I started playing with the colours and the dies it turned into a sympathy card.
For my birthday my daughter gave me the Sue Wilson Corner, Border and Tag set from the Greek Island collection. This is the first time I have used them they go so well with the image. I used all of the dies in the set.
The image is so pretty and she is surround by ivy. This Angel looks like she has a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic face . I added the ivy corner dies to the corners of the image to enhance the ivy on the image.
I cut the border die and the tag die in white. I did ink the tag to define it from the border. The sentiment was cut with a tattered lace die it was just the right size for the tag.
I do like how this card turned out Sympathy cards are always hard to make. Fortunately I haven't made this card with anyone in mind. She does look beautiful on Christmas cards the rest of the Design Team have made some. I will have a go soon.
I hope the last day before the weekend is kind to you.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Jackie
