Crafty Addicts - Use a die cut or Anything Goes

I did say the start of the month is a busy time. I have blogged again just to prove it.

The Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog starts their new challenge today and the theme is use a die cut.

My image is from Inky Impressions one of the sponsors this month and she is called Fairy Lili with Snow Globe. I cut an  aperture from  the background before I embossed it, if you do it after the embossing gets flattened. I wanted her to look like she was sitting in her own snow globe. 

I coloured the image with Promarkers in my favourite colours. I put the backing paper on foam pads so that the image could be sunk into the background. I added snowflakes cut with some of Sue Wilson's snowflake dies.

Crafty Addicts - Kiss-Mass Penguins

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a good week. I am still on holiday.  I will post some pictures when we get back we should have been to some interesting places as long as the boat actually stops where it is meant to.

This is my first Design Team card for the new  Crafty Addicts Challenge Blog. We have sponsors this month the image and sentiment I have used are from Inky Impressions by Nicole.

This card started with an 8" x 8" scalloped card blank. I used the image Merry Kiss-Mass Penguins and the Joys of the season sentiment.  I used an A4 embossing folder to create the background. The snowflakes were cut with a die I got free with a magazine last year, The ribbon was in my stash as was the dazzler. 

Using Publisher on the computer I put the sentiment and the image together. Once printed I coloured the image with my Promarkers.
