Moving Along with the Times (MAWTT) theme Embossing

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How is your week going? We are nearly at the weekend. I really shouldn't wish the time away should I? There is so much coming up though. I still have quite a bit to make for the wedding which is about five and a half weeks away.

The new challenge starts on the Moving Along with the Times challenge blog and the theme is Embossing.

I managed to get my hands on 'That Embossing Folder'. The one that came free with a magazine and everyone wanted it and it sold out. It has been made available again and that is how I got one. I just had to use it for this challenge.

I used the Sue Wilson Just for You Oval die set to make the sentiment. The central piece I embossed with the lower portion of the folder.

Here is the detail of the embossing folder. I embossed it three times and cut our the elements and them put them together on the card.

Karen asked if we saw the wall of fame, in the Cavern District of Liverpool, on our last visit. I thought I would share my photo of it I hope Karen pops by to see it.

To me this card looks a bit French. It would be quite easy to recreate in lots of different colours.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

Hi Jackie,
what a wonderful card and the colours used are so fab.
Love your design with this embossing folder.
I was lucky enough to have won this embossing folder on the Snippets Playground, and have only used it once so thank you for reminding me to use it again with your lovely card.
Oh my that wall is something wonderful to see.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Yay! You saw it That's where I had my photo taken on the bench next to John Lennon too I have lots of photos of individual bricks too It was one of my highlights to see a building become a real work of art and a tribute to the stars and the Cavern

This is a gorgeous card Jackie! I love the pink and brown combo - it’s a fab embossing set. In fact, I have it in my stash somewhere! and am ashamed to say that I’ve not had time to use it yet!! It sure looks fab with the Oval Die Set and Sentiment! :-)
Hope you have a good weekend!

A beautiful card in lovely colours. I've toyed with the idea of getting that folder but then resisted. I might have to rethink that one! Hazel x
