Twisted Easel Easter Card made with the Oakham Lattice die set

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors.

I hope had  great weekend. Last week we were so busy. This weekend by contrast was so quiet but those kind of weekends are great for catching up on jobs in the house and garden. Last year we had an ivy infestation to cope with. This year we have got to do something about our disintegrating  shed.

I made this Easter card to give to a friend. I used mostly dies from the John Next Door range from Crafts-Too.

I do love the Oakham Lattice  die set that John Lockwood designed. I have used it to make a wedding card recently. Changing the colours means that it can be used for all sorts of occasions. There is so much detail in the dies.

This shows the base of the card I used the centre of the Oakham Lattice die set to make the stopper for the easel. Have you spotted the bunnies they are from a Britannia die set.

I decorated the card with the Star flowers and the Star Flower leaves made with Snippets of paper and card. . The sentiment is from a Creative expressions die set.

Have a great week. I can't believe Easter is nearly here.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Happy Crafting

Beautiful card Jackie! LOVE the shades of lemon, so much a touch of Spring. And am loving the design. I've made easel cards, and also twisted ones before but never quite as gorgeous as this one is! Well done!

Re. the shed. We replaced our wooden one with a Candaian made metal one and it's been really great for the years since we bought it. Double opening doors which make life easier. But, it did come flat packed - with pages of very good instructions - and about 4,000 (I kid you not!) nuts and bolts to assemble it. I read the instructions whilst Len assembled it - and sometimes had to also help whilst holding the instructions between my teeth! But - worth it in the end! If you go down that route - call in the family to help and make a party of it :)
