Harebell Flower Fairy Birthday Card

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How are you doing? Has much changed for you? We have been to visit friends in their house.  One evening this week we are having some friends round to have a drink in the garden. These are people we have been having Zoom meetings with. It is so nice to be able to meet in person.

I haven't completely tidied my craft stash but I have done odd bits of sorting. When I was going through one of my boxes I found a Flower Fairy paper kit. Well I just had to use it.

I used the Harebell Flower fairy image and matching paper from the kit. A couple of years ago we went to an exhibition of the original Flower Fairy paintings by Cicely Mary Barker at Mottisfont National Trust. I have always liked these painting. It was so lovely to see them for real.

I added this Spellbinder die to the design. The cobwebby ribbon was in my stash.

I made this card with my mother-in-law in mind she shares my love of the flower fairies. In the end I made her a card with my own drawing of some poppies she loves poppies too.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Have a good week.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

Lovely card Jackie. I have some of those stamps somewhere. Still not going out much. Just to my son’s and can walk there in 5mins. We should have been at the Newbury Craft Show yesterday. One day we will meet up again. Glad you got to see friends this week. Mine are still not going out. Take care.

Hi Jackie, I think this is so pretty and I love the webbing, beautiful card.
No change here, still in lockdown, my daughter did actually enter the house for the first time in months on Sunday for her birthday, it was nice but still quite odd as I can't hug her or get to close, but still, I hope you enjoy your visits, have fun.xx

Such a pretty card, love flower fairies and used to have a paper kit some years ago also. I bet the exhibition was great. The cobweb ribbon is really effective too on your card. Take care Michelle x
