Tattered Lace Charisma Teddy and Embellishments

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

Well this has been a busy week one way and another and we aren't quite at the end yet. I hope you are all getting on OK.

Over the Christmas break I had quite a few Tattered Lace deadlines. It did help that we couldn't go out much because of my poor husband's wrist.

I enjoyed making these samples for shows that are being shown on Create and Craft  today.

Here are all the samples together. The little teddy is so cute. There is a CD rom of images he has different expressions. There is a die to cut him out. I also had the Teddy Embellishments die set to work with.

I made matching sets of cards and tags and a couple of bags. This is content teddy.

This was happy teddy pretty in pink.  All the embellishments were made from the Teddy Embellishments die. I chose not to use the print out from the CD for the embellishments I enjoyed making them to match the cards and tags.

This is sad teddy but he still looks cute.

Here they all are again. They were all shown. The teddy is very hard to resist.

I have made a lot of samples for Tattered Lace recently. I think I have samples that have gone to CHA in America this week.  I wonder if they will turn up anywhere?

Enjoy the last day of the week.

Tattered Lace - Peony Bloom Charisma

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

How has your week been so far? I have been busy again making samples for Tattered Lace shows on Create and Craft.

The Peony Bloom Charisma die was fun to work with. There is  a CD that has artwork on it that can be cut with the die and some lovely backing papers too. It does look pretty cut on its own without the special papers as well.

These are the samples that I sent in altogether in one place.

This is a 7" x 7" card the backing paper and the flowers were from the CD. I had seen Nancy Watt using a similar product so I knew what to  do. The art work is slightly bigger than the die so there is a kind of halo round it when you line it up. I was a bit worried but it worked a treat in fact it was surprisingly simple.

I had a go at making a pillow gift box I found a template on the internet. You could write someone's name in the centre the white does show off the flowers nicely.

I made an easel card. There are some lovely colour combinations on the CD and all the backing papers I used came from there.

Lastly I made a tag I wanted to see what the die looked like on its own and I wasn't disappointed it is very pretty.

The shows are on today starting a 8am on Create and Craft Rossella will be demonstrating. I am hoping to watch some of the shows when I get back from work.

Have a great day

Happy Crafting
