A Wreath of Flowers to Say Goodbye.

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

Here we are in the middle of the week. I do hope you are having a good week.

There is so much to do leading up to the end of term. A few people are leaving work at the end of term so I have offered to make some leaving cards. I wanted  to use some of the flowers from Flower Project sheet from  the O-Sew-Sweet collection at Delightful Digi's.

The card blank was an 8" x 8". I cut all the mats with 1/4" increments. The backing paper was also from the O-Sew-Sweet collection I printed it in mauve and inked the edges.

There are three types of flower on the project sheet. I chose to use the flower that matched the backing paper I had used. The flowers come in three sizes on the sheet I printed three sheets and coloured these flowers and one set of leaves with my Promarkers. I must say that I am really enjoying all the colouring it really helps me to switch off. To mount the flowers I cut a circle of mauve card and then I cut the centre out to give me a frame. I attached the flowers and leaves to the frame and I put large foam pads on the back to attach it to the card.

I used Satin Florist ribbon to put round the centre of the card. I added a sentiment cut with a Signature die by Joanna Sheet out of white card.

As this is a leaving card for people to sign I have made it so that both sides of the open card can be signed and I haven't added a sentiment inside to make more room.

Don't forget you can buy any of the images on the Delightful Digi's Blog by clicking on the image above.

I would like to enter this in Challenge 232 at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge Blog.

I do hope the rest of the week is kind to you.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie
