I hope you are enjoying our spell of hot weather. We have fans going in the house all the time I don't think we used them at all last year.
I recently received Sam Poole's release of Christmas stamps and I couldn't quite bring myself to make a Christmas card when they first arrived. Looking at the Hedgehog (Prickles) I started to think of Autumn and piles of leaves and that is where the idea for this card came from.
I did enjoy working out how to make the background as I was using a mask to emboss and I wanted a larger background. I ran it through the Grand Calibur twice both times hanging the edge of the mask outside the sandwich so as not to get a line across. Then I inked through the mask to make the trunks stand out. I also used Autumn colour to ink through a leaf mask. I used a script A6 stamp to stamp randomly with black ink over the background.

Thank you for coming to look at my Blog. I was trying to be better about posting more often but this doesn't seem to have happened, life just seems to get in the way.
