How has your week been? I can't believe it is Friday again already. Tomorrow we are going car hunting the time has come to change my husband's car. The last straw was someone trying to break into the car last week. In the evening we are going with our friends to see the Bootleg Beatles in concert in Portsmouth it is so close we couldn't not go. On Sunday we are visiting our parents and taking the photo books I have had orderd of our daughter's wedding. I hope they like them.
Well being Friday the new challenge starts on the Crafty Catz Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes with the optional twist of using your favourite colour combination. The fabulous sponsor this time is Paper Shelter Digital Stamps. We have a Guest Design Team call for May just put GDT after your name with your entry if you are interested.
I like the combination of pink and blue it reminds me of the For-get-me-not flowers which used to grow in our garden. All the papers I used came from my stash. I used the Double Pierced Square and Rectangle dies from Creative Expressions to make the mats and layers.
There are many wonderful images in the Store if you click on the logo you will be taken there.
This image comes from the digital stamp set called Tulips and it is available HERE. I used the pre-coloured image from the set. I created the background for the image in Publisher. Then I die cut the image with a Tattered Lace oval die with a matching white border.
This pretty lace I have had for a while in came in a bag of oddments from a Craft Fair.

What a pretty card, the image looks lovely on to of the patterned papers and the flowers are a great finishing touch. I know what you mean about the forget me not flowers, they are one of my favourites too. Just have a look next time you come round, they are growing outside the gate, in the grass but not one in the garden bed! Good luck with the car hunting and enjoy the Beatles.
