I am sorry that I have been so quiet. Life has been truly hectic. My dad is still in hospital he is now having physio so he can go home. I am frantically trying to sort out care for them both so they can stay in their home. My sister did come down so we could go to the wedding in Malta and she is still there for a few days. This takes the pressure off us for all the visiting though I do have a meeting tomorrow.
I thought I would show you the table plan that gave me so much concern and and anxiety as well as some photos from the wedding.
There were a few constraints: it had to fit in our case and it had to be rigid so that it could go on the easel. My husband found a collage frame. When I took the glass out it was much lighter. Then I used the card, and images to match the invitations and the table cards. We were given five weeks notice to make this so it was a bit of a rush job and I finished it while we were visiting my dad daily. I don't think the couple had any idea how much pressure they put us under and there was no public thanks for what we had done,
This is the happy couple with his parents my husband's brother and sister-in-law.
Here they are at the table you can see the flowers and one of the table cards.
There was a huge waterfall in the grounds which was stunning. It was just so hot.
We are planning to go back to Malta we loved it and managed to see much more that we thought we would. We would just go back when it is a lot cooler.
I hope you are all well.
Happy Crafting
Hugs Jackie

Hi Jackie,
I think you came up trumps with all the probs you encountered as well as family health issues.
It all looks so stunning.
Beautiful photos too.
So glad your sister could help too.
March is a cooler time to visit Malta as I have been there at that time and it's just right amount of heat more like one of our cooler summers.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
That table plan looks fabulous, and I can see a lot of work went into making it, (think its downright rude not to mention your work at the event though!!)
people just dont realise how much time it takes to plan, source and actually make these things. I am sure it was appreciated, even if they forgot to thank you!
Hope things pan out smoothly at home with your Mum and Dad, make sure you set aside a little "me time" even if its only half an hour quiet time with a coffee and a cake!!
Hugs xx
Looks like you made a good job of the table plan Jackie. Well done! It seems you don’t get any public thanks these days. It’s hapoened to me in the past. Hope you can get the problems with your parents sorted soon and everyone is happy with the arrangements.
A brilliant idea for the table plan Jackie, it looks fabulous. It's a shame you didn't get recognition on the day but I'm sure the newlyweds will thank you personally once all the excitement has worn off. You did go above and beyond for them considering the stress you were under with your father's illness. Hopefully everything will fall nicely into place with regards to his recovery and your parents long term care. It looks a lovely venue for a wedding and hopefully you both were able to relax and enjoy it xx
Fabulous table plan, a lot of hard work and effort, you have put in to it...Such a shame you didn't get any thanks on the day though! Hope your Dad is on the road to recovery now!!
Hugs Donna xx

You did a wonderful job considering all the pressure you've been through Jackie. It all looks super and I'm pleased you managed a break knowing your parents were well looked after. Shabneez x
Wonderful table plan Jackie, love the idea of presenting it in the picture frame. I know what hard work wedding stationery is especially with time constraints let alone family worries. Take care.
