Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog - January - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends

Happy New Year πŸŽˆπŸŽ†πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‰

I hope you are feeling okay after last night. We had a quiet night in but we did see in the New Year with a glass of bubbly while listening to the chimes and watching the fireworks on the telly.

Being the first of the month the new challenge starts on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes and this time the sponsor is Sparkle 'N' Sprinkle. The Design Team were able to choose images from the store to work with.

I just couldn't resist these coffee cups.

Our fabulous Sponsor is Sparkle N Sprinkle if you click on the logo you will be taken to the store.

The images and sentiment I used came from the Expresso Yourself Digital Stamp set which can be purchased HERE. I used two of the coffee cup images and a sentiment from the set. They were printed onto Neenah card and coloured with Promarkers.

I decided to make this into a Valentine's Day card for my husband as we are known for going out for coffee together often.

I just have to remember where I have put this card when I need it in February.

Enjoy your day.

Happy Crafting

Crafts Galore Encore - March Challenge - Fabrika Fantasy

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope that you are having a good week. All of a sudden it is March time is marching on.

The first of the month sees the start of a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is always Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Fabrika Fantasy.

I decided to make a birthday card.

There are many wonderful images in the store

This is the Summer Fairy image she is available here  http://www.fabrikafantasy.com/summer-fairy-digital-stamp.php#.WLSRz_nyiUk . As I was able to have a PNG image I was able to colour the background on the computer. I then printed onto watercolour card and coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

I made a summery border with die cuts and punches to mirror the border in the image.

This is the die I got from Crafter's Companion at Christmas. I am using it a lot as it seems to fit so well into my designs.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are enjoying the weekend and some of us have an extra day to look forward to tomorrow. We are off to see my parents to celebrate our birthdays. I share a birthday with my mother and my father's is five days later. My mum isn't too well and doesn't want to go out so we are going to take afternoon tea with us all bought from M&S.

Being the first of the month the new challenge starts today on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog and the theme is Anything Goes. I am sharing a frame that I made as a wedding gift for a wedding we are going to in July.

I made a frame like this for the family wedding that was earlier in the year. This one is for another niece and her fiancΓ© I know she will be carrying sunflowers at her wedding.

The Sponsor for this challenge is Di's Digis
Click on the image to be taken to the store.

I have a lovely set of sunflower stamps and I used it to create this background.

Part of the set creates a layered sunflower. I made one for the frame.

We had a few goes at laying out the words.

This is the wedding card I created I used the same sunflower stamp set for the background just this time I stamped it in grey ink.

The big plus about this wedding is that we will be staying 10 minutes drive from the Harry Potter Studio Tour, we have our tickets already, we are going on the Sunday after the wedding on the Saturday. It will make a very nice weekend.

I hope that you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Happy Crafting
