Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog - Challenge #78 - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

As I said I am back with my second post of the day.

The visit with my parents was okay and they did seem to be very well. Though it was difficult trying to explain to people with dementia why we had masks and why we had to stay distant.

The new challenge has started at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is Anything Goes and this time the sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy.

I used one of my inky backgrounds and I cut an aperture in it with the Under the Sea die set. It is a Memory Box die set that came free with a magazine.

There are many fantastic images in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

The image I used is called Betta Fish Crowntail and is available HERE.  I used the pre-coloured fish and I popped it onto my own background.

The fish and the bubbles came from the Under the Sea  Die set. The larger seaweed came from another die set.

I think this fish should be very happy in his watery home with all his little fishy friends. I will have to send this card to someone special.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Have a great weekend.

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes - September Challenge

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you are having a good weekend. How did it get to be September? Where did August go?

Being the first of the month the new challenge starts at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes and this time the sponsor is the fabulous Fabrika Fantasy.

I made an Autumn coloured background with the mats and layers to suit the image I was able to use. The brown glitter card I have had in my stash since I went to the first Newbury Craft show and they gave out goody bags. It has been very useful and it has all gone now.

There are many wonderful images and colouring pages in the store. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

I was so lucky that I was able to use the beautiful Autumn Fairy image which is available HERE.  There is a fairy for each of the seasons in the store. Being a PNG image I was able to layer her over a background I had created on the computer. I printed onto Neenah card stock and she was coloured with my Promarkers. Then I fussy cut the image to place on the background I had created with patterned papers and die cut leaves.

The stitched leaves dies came free with a magazine some time ago. I used scraps of coloured card to for the leaves. In the background you can just see the patterned papers that I used.

I have decided not to put sentiments on my cards until I know what I am going to use them for. This will give me a degree of flexibility.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Why not join our challenge at the Crafts Galore Challenge blog.  The winners were announced yesterday you might just be one.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog February Challenge Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends

How is your week going? The start of the month is always busy in Blogland with lots of challenges starting over the next few days. I have two posts today, just to prove my point.

The new challenge starts on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Fabrika Fantasy.

In the background I used the lattice corner die from the Sandwich box die set by John Next Door. This die cuts beautifully and all the pieces come out so easily.  Can you spot the sun in the corner of my photo.

There are many wonderful images in the store if you click on the image you will be taken there.

This image is called Poppy Fairy and she is available HERE. As the image is a PNG I was able to place it onto my own background image before printing onto Neenah card  and colouring with my Promarkers.

This is a Spellbinders poppy die. I do have a bit of a thing for poppies.

The Happy Birthday was cut with a Crafter's Companion die.

I was very pleased with how this card came together. Enjoy the rest of the week.

Unicorn Challenge Blog Second Birthday

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends

Good morning. How are you? This is my second day of being retired everything is all a bit weird at the moment I am sure I will quickly get used to it. There is so much that I want to do.

Well the new challenge starts on the Unicorn Challenge blog and it is our second birthday (where did the time go?). To celebrate the theme this month is Birthday and we have not one but two wonderful sponsors Di's Digi Stamps and Fabrika Fantasy.

I had a look in the Di's Digi Stamp store and I couldn't resist this cute image. I used three shades of blue centura pearl card. I made a frame for the image with the Double Pierced Rectangles by Creative Expressions. The top layer was embossed with the Heart Lattice embossing folder also by Creative Expressions unfortunately I don't think it is available any more.

Fabrika Fantasy have some wonderful images on their site.

Di's Digi Stamps also has some gorgeous image. We are very lucky to have been sponsored by them both this month.

I treated myself to one of the images from Di's Digi Stamps this one is called Hedgehogs Bluebell Fun. The image was printed onto water colour paper and coloured with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

I do love circle sentiments they often fit onto a card where others couldn't. This is a LOTV sentiment that came free with a magazine some time ago. I used my Tonic circle dies to cut the circles.

These bluebell were cut with some Spellbinder dies.

This is a good time to join our challenge with two sponsors. I am looking forward to seeing all the entries.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog - September Challenge sponsor Fabrika Fantasy

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope this finds you well. Today you will have to be very patient with me. I will posting three times for three different Design Teams. All posts will be scheduled as we will still be in London.

The new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is always Anything Goes. The sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy.

I wanted to get ahead with my Christmas cards so I chose one of the Winter Images. I cut all the mats and layers with my Double Pierced Square dies by Creative Expressions. I made the snowflake border with white glitter card with the Snowflake Border and Corner set also by Creative Expressions.

If you click on the image you should be taken to the store there are many gorgeous images there it is well worth a look.

The image I chose is called Winter Games 2 and I used the pre-coloured image that came with the line image. It does save time.

Enjoy the rest of the day. I will be posting again in an hour. It is strange how things work out.

Happy Crafting

Take care.

Crafts Galore Encore - March Challenge - Fabrika Fantasy

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope that you are having a good week. All of a sudden it is March time is marching on.

The first of the month sees the start of a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is always Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Fabrika Fantasy.

I decided to make a birthday card.

There are many wonderful images in the store

This is the Summer Fairy image she is available here  http://www.fabrikafantasy.com/summer-fairy-digital-stamp.php#.WLSRz_nyiUk . As I was able to have a PNG image I was able to colour the background on the computer. I then printed onto watercolour card and coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

I made a summery border with die cuts and punches to mirror the border in the image.

This is the die I got from Crafter's Companion at Christmas. I am using it a lot as it seems to fit so well into my designs.

Enjoy the rest of the week.
