Happy Father's Day lovely Hubby

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? Today we are going to the 94th Birthday party of my mother-in-law. We are taking the food. It will be an afternoon tea. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can all be in the garden. I will let you know how is all goes.

Today I am sharing the Father's Day Card that I made for my hubby. When I first made it I wasn't going to share it as I thought it was quite simple. I decided it was worth a share on Sunday.

I used some of the paper from the Fresh Feeling Paper pad from The Works. I was able to use up some of the larger strips of paper.

I reused an old card. The scene reminded me of holidays we used to have. Hopefully this year we will get away for a while. My hubby keeps asking when we can go away. The card and it's mats and layers were cut with the double pierced square dies from Creative Expressions.

This is a Signature die I have had it for a while and it has been very useful.

We did have a lovely day on Sunday. I know my hubby liked his card.

Have a good day.

Happy crafting.

Hugs Jackie

How nice to build such a beautifully touching card for hubby to honor his likes and desires, Jackie. So glad to hear you enjoyed a nice day. How exciting to spend the 94th birthday with dear MIL! So happy for you all, and it's very nice to take over the celebration food! I miss my mom so much! She has been gone since 1993. No one can take their places, can they? I am especially enamored with your background papers on this pretty scene. It's as though I am walking on a sandbar with the water rushing on either side of it. We always enjoyed that so we could find all the treasures left behind by the tide on the sand bar. Then when the tide came back in, the sandbar would disappear. It's a beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing about your lovely life, too! Wishing you health and joy. love, de
