Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog - December Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How has your week been? We are settling into my hubby's retirement. We are both looking forward to the time when we can have a holiday. That was always the plan to have a big holiday when we were both retired. Oh well we will just have to wait for that.

The new challenge starts today at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog. This time there are no sponsors and the theme is Anything Christmas Goes. I have a bit of other news that this will be my last post for this lovely Challenge blog. As I have said before with my hubby being retired there is not so much time for me to craft. I will still be making cards it is a hobby I love. I just don't want to be working to deadlines.

I do love a religious Christmas card. All the papers I have used are Designer papers from Claritystamp. I do love those papers.

This challenge has no sponsor so it is an Anything Christmas Goes Challenge. If you click on my personal logo you will be taken to the challenge blog.

This die is the Madonna Window Fresh Cut Aperture Die. It makes a great stained glass window.  I used a sticky sheet over some Designer paper. I added a circle around baby Jesus' head. Then I stuck down the black die cut. To this I was able to add paper piecing. Finally I covered the remaining sticky sheet with Micro Beads.

I made two cards with the same design. Once I have shared this post my commitment to the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog is complete. As there will be no commenting on the entries this time I am finished.

Have great weekend.

Happy Crafting

Hugs Jackie

Hi Jackie,
what a wonderful card and such a super die used.
The stain glass window looks so lovely and the colours are fab.
That paper used goes so perfectly with it too.
Great variations in the colurs on the both.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
